Godthief Release In Progress

Godthief has been released and is now in the Amazon publication queue.

New from Sean Fenian, Godthief is a standalone fantasy novel set in an alternate world that might or might not be “real”. It delves into the powers and limitations of gods and prophecy, and what we really mean when we say the word “Paladin”, all against a background of the aftermath of a thousand-year-old, almost-world-shattering demon war.

Godthief Nearing Release

Godthief, the next novel from Sean Fenian, is in final editing stages and will be released very shortly, either at the very end of May 2025 or the beginning of June. Godthief is a standalone (for now) fantasy novel that asks questions about what the word ‘Paladin’ really means, set in a world that will probably appear very familiar to readers of Becoming Real.

Tim Campbell Confirmed As Narrator For Agency

After evaluating the work of four different candidates and auditioning two, Fenian House is happy to announce the selection of Tim Campbell as narrator for the audiobook edition of Agency. Tim absolutely knocked his audition out of the park, perfectly capturing both Ciáran mac Cool and Judson Ritter. Both authors (Robert and Sean) are very happy with Tim's performance.

Podium Expands Audiobook Distribution

Podium Entertainment has recently announced newly expanded audiobook distribution onto additional leading audiobook platforms.

What this means to you, our readers, is that Fenian House audiobooks will now be available not only on the Audible platform, but also on other major audiobook pklatforms including Spotify, Apple Books, Storytel, and Audiobooks.com, as well as in local libraries via OverDrive and hoopla.

That last is of particular note, as it means that for the first time, you will be able to go to your local library and check out audiobooks of the Stardock Trilogy (and soon, Agency as well). The Podium audiobook edition of Agency is currently in narrator selection.

KDP Virtual Voiced WHAT?

Amazon has just announced a beta for “KDP Audiobooks with Virtual Voice.”

KDP will automatically generate an audiobook for you from your eligible Amazon-published book, “voiced” by generative AI.

We would like to issue a brief official statement on this:

Fenian House Publishing will never use this service.

Period.

Why? Because it takes paid work away from actual human voice actors.

Printing error!

It came to my attention today that due to an overlooked page style error, the print edition of Bearing Gifts does not have page numbers in the Post-It Notes section. I have uploaded a corrected manuscript. The error is present only in Bearing Gifts.

Six copies—possibly seven—have been sold containing this error, and I have one additional such copy on my bookshelf (plus two author's proofs). If you own one of those copies: Congratulations! You now own a rarity.
