Unitary Problems

NASA famously destroyed a Mars mission by making an error of units, performing a vital orbital-entry calculation in feet that should have been done in meters.

I didn't do that. But there is a typo in Appendix 2 of A Line In The Stars that I only spotted today. A Warlord class missile cruiser is of course 454 METERS long, not 454 MILLIMETERS.

Publication issues with KDP

Be advised that there are issues with the softcover print edition of In Flux. At this time, the softcover edition is (at least in the US Kindle store) not properly linked to the Kindle edition, and may not show up correctly in all stores. (The link for amazon.de for example does not resolve.)

However, this is STARTING to clear up. If you cannot find In Flux in softcover in your Amazon store yet, please be patient.

In Flux is officially released

In Flux is live TODAY

Years ago, Justin—we’ll call him Justin—escaped from a hated orphanage, and from his own time. Now he will give a woman whom he does not know a last-second escape from hers—and also from her imminent brutal murder. Together, they will learn and share mysteries and wonders, pain and joy, make new friends and face new challenges, in a strange place outside of time and space as we think of them, where possibility can become reality—if your will is strong enough, and your vision clear and firm.

But be careful. There are deadly dangers hiding within the Flux.

In Flux is officially released, in Kindle eBook, EPUB3, and softcover print formats.

Sean Fenian's upcoming novel In Flux draws inspiration in part from sources including Jack L. Chalker and Julian May, in a setting with distant echoes of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, to tell a vaguely steampunk-era tale—without the steam. In Flux is in the final stages of production and should be on sale before Hallowe'en.
